Saw this GENIUS idea for kitchen cabinets on Facebook today. I’m definitely going to do this in my kitchen and both of my bathrooms.
You attach plastic notebook or file pockets to the inside of your cabinets to store papers or flat items. I’ve got some Command poster strips that will be perfect for doing this. If I actually get it done this weekend, I’ll post the results!

With the recent chill in the air (was anyone else decidedly not ready for it to be this cold this soon?) my skin is starting to get parched and in need of serious hydration. If you're finding yourself in a similar situation, these tips from Beverly Hills dermatologist Dr. Stuart Kaplan, are sure to help your skin make it through the cold weather like you spent it in the tropics.
I’ve been a member of Sears‘ Shop Your Way Rewards Program for several years now. If you haven’t heard about the program, it’s a great way to get discounts and special deals from Sears, Kmart, Lands’ End, and really any place connected to the Sears online marketplace.
Best of all, it’s TOTALLY FREE!
Here’s how the program works (from the FAQ page on the site):

Earlier this week, Kelly Ripa, a popular morning talk show host, in an interview with a guest, made a comment that set the "pit bull" dog community into a minor tailspin. For those that missed the show, Ms. Ripa said to her guest, in reference to his character's dog, "But the gangster's dog is uh, I mean if it's a gangster it would have to be a dangerous, uh, Pit Bull kind of dog, right?"
My Journey Thru @idreamofclean’s #31Days to a Clean and Organized Kitchen – Week 1 Recap
Unless you live under a rock, you have heard about the “31 Days” thing that has taking the blogging world by storm. I have seen some neat themes, but, as a single mom who works full-time, there is no way I could even remotely manage to follow more than one blogger on a daily journey, much less crank out a post-a-day on any topic myself right now.
To be honest, I wasn’t even going to give this 31 Days thing much thought at all. But I have this friend who has this blog that focuses on organization and cleaning tips and tricks for busy moms (of which I am *SO* one), so this month I am following @idreamofclean‘s 31 Days to a Clean & Organized Kitchen. With my busy schedule, my kitchen has felt rather neglected lately, so this is totally something that is useful to me right now (translation: my kitchen needed help STAT).

No matter how much you like your job, your kids, or your life in general, we all have those days. Here are ten tips for keeping stress at bay.
1. Take a brisk walk (or quick jog) to start the day or during breaks throughout the day.
Several studies have shown that those who start their day with a morning jog or exercise have less stress and burn more fat throughout the day.
